Sauk County Drainage District
REA is assisting the Sauk County Drainage Board in a feasibility study for a Drainage District in the Spring Green area.

Integrated Dairy, Phase III
REA is part of the design team for the Integrated Dairy, Phase III project for the Wisconsin Division of State Facilities. This project involves renovating the Dairy Cattle Center on the UW-Madison campus for the Dairy Science Department.

USDA – NRCS Conservation Innovation Grant
REA is the lead design engineer in the development of treatment and management practices for farmstead runoff and manure digester effluent. The project will include development and measurement of algae culture technology and constructed wetlands to reduce phosphorus concentrations in manure effluent and storm water runoff from farmstead operations.

Waunakee Community Digester
REA participated in the Waunakee Community Digester project. The project involved designing manure transfer systems for the farms utilizing the digester.

White Gold Dairy Expansion
REA prepared plans, specifications, and permits for the White Gold Dairy Expansion. The project involved constructing a new barn, manure transfer system, manure storage, feed storage, vegetated treatment area for feed storage runoff, and stormwater detention basins.

USDA-ARS Animal Holding Facility
REA assisted in preparing plans, specifications and bid documents for manure storage and feed storage and runoff controls at the USDA Animal Holding Facility in Stratford, WI. The project included topographic survey, soils evaluation, preparation of plans and specifications, and construction observation.

Structure No. 5 West Fork of the Kickapoo-Dam Abutment Repairs
REA prepared abutment repair plans for Structure No. 5 on the West Fork of the Kickapoo River in Vernon County, WI as part of a USDA WI A&E ID/IQ Contract. In 2007 and 2008 flood events caused flood water to flow through the right abutment. The project involved designing an abutment blanket and abutment drain. Engineering services included topographic survey, soils evaluation, preparation of plans and specifications, construction staking and construction observation.
